Kathryn Marie Designs
North Andover resident Kathy Jodka is the mother of 3 grown children and has been crafting and DIY’ing since her kids were born. Her journey into the jewelry niche began with making friendship bracelets using embroidery floss. After seeing a designer wrap bracelet in 2014 she went to the craft store to purchase some supplies, binged YouTube videos and made her first leather wrap bracelet. She was hooked and Kathryn Marie Designs was born.
Over the years, Kathy has expanded her offerings to include earrings, necklaces and many styles of bracelets using gold, silver and brass findings. Kathy also makes custom wedding jewelry and repairs beaded jewelry.
“I love that I can design a piece of jewelry that means something to someone, whether that is for a wedding or a sentimental piece of jewelry that can be worn as a reminder of someone who has passed on. My small business gives me purpose in life and I find beading to be therapeutic.”
