Quilts
The Village Studio makes keepsake quilts from your loved ones clothing to preserve their memories. Melissa meets with each customer individually to go through the clothing to ensure it can be used, discuss the design of the quilt as well as go over any special requests. Customers are provided a written quote and may be placed on a waiting list. The product you receive is a true quilt, not a blanket, to ensure durability even with consistent use and washing. We collaborate with a longarm quilter out of southern New Hampshire to do the quilting.

Blankets
We now offer t-shirt blankets. The process is exactly the same as above except it is not fully quilted. We do some/enough quilting to ensure that the end product will endure prolonged use and occasional washes but a quilt is recommended if the blanket will be washed over and over again.

Pricing
Since every project is unique we are unable to quote via email or over the phone and no longer publish a price list. In general, pricing starts @ $370 for an adult t-shirt quilt and $260 for a blanket but can go up or down depending on the size and complexity of the quilt. Please review the FAQ's below to answer many of our most commonly asked questions.

Can I supply the fabric for a baby quilt?

For onesie quilts (or quilts made from your childs baby clothes), the majority of the quilt is made from the clothing you supply. We will add a border and backing using coordinating flannel. For baby quilts outside of the above, we use only high quality 100% cotton quilting fabric. If you have fabric you wish to use, please bring it with you to the consultation.
Can a baby quilt be personalized?

Yes, the personalization is the best part! We will add the baby's name to the front (or the back, if you prefer) of the quilt. Applique or embroidery is available. Pricing is custom quoted.
What is an "autograph book" baby quilt?"

We will provide you with fabric squares and a fabric safe pen. Bring the fabric squares to the baby shower and have all the guests write their name(s) and/or a message to the baby. We will incorporate those squares into your baby quilt! This quilt will be custom quoted.
How much is a baby quilt?

Each quilt is custom designed to your needs and specifications. We will meet with you to discuss your project and provide a quote.
Can you coordinate the colors of the baby quilt to the nursery colors and theme?

Sure! We can't guarantee an exact match but we can try our best.
What is your turnaround time?

Turnaround times fluctuate depending on the time of year and how busy the studio is. If we have a waiting list we can add you to it. We will contact you for your consultation once we are ready to begin your project or, if you prefer, we can do the consultation prior to being added to the waiting list. Orders are completed on first-come-first-served basis.
What is your payment policy?

We reserve the right to request a deposit. Payment in full is required at the end of the project.
What is your return policy?

Since this is a custom item, all sales are considered final. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the final product, please contact us to discuss. The quality of our product and your satisfaction are our highest priorities.
