Quilts
The Village Studio makes keepsake quilts from your loved ones clothing to preserve their memories. Melissa meets with each customer individually to go through the clothing to ensure it can be used, discuss the design of the quilt as well as go over any special requests. Customers are provided a written quote and may be placed on a waiting list. The product you receive is a true quilt, not a blanket, to ensure durability even with consistent use and washing. We collaborate with a longarm quilter out of southern New Hampshire to do the quilting.
Blankets
We now offer t-shirt blankets. The process is exactly the same as above except it is not fully quilted. We do some/enough quilting to ensure that the end product will endure prolonged use and occasional washes but a quilt is recommended if the blanket will be washed over and over again.
Pricing
Since every project is unique we are unable to quote via email or over the phone and no longer publish a price list. In general, pricing starts @ $360 for an adult t-shirt quilt and $250 for a blanket but can go up or down depending on the size and complexity of the quilt.
